DIDIUS JULIANUS COINS

M. Didius Salvius Julianus, bought the Roman empire of the praetorian guards when they put the empire for sale after the death of Pertinax, A.D. 193. Didius, however, held the empire for only two months, from March 28th to June 1st, and was murdered by soldiers when Septimius Severus was marching against the city.
