just a small mess around with the giant frisbee blue max 15″ xlt coil. it did pick up deeper targets than the standard coil but they were all junk and i dont film the trash stuff. also included is what our modern coins should look like and how i find them out of the ground.

I went to PNC Bank today to cash my paycheck. PNC is the bank the check is written on. I presented a state driver’s license and a major credit card. The branch I was in was the branch on the check. PNC refused to cash their own check. wtf? are we crashing already?

yes theres plenty to order on the net, ebay has quite a few and most outlets that sell detectors sell online too. since you have 3-600 pounds to spend on a machine have a chat with the chaps on this forum, they will know more about the higher end detectors than me, heres the site. uk detector net you,ll get all the help and info you need to make the right decision.

Thank you for replying. My friend and I are looking forward to going out and about- he has a new camper van thing and has always wanted a detecter. £300-600 range of detecter would be great. Can you order one from the net ok?
Happy hunting!

hi, i bought a whites xlt for a few hundred pounds and i,m glad i got it. £220 will get you a 2nd hand one. you could buy a new garrett ace 250 for £170, second hand ones gor for around £120. but look for good old detectors for the same price or a little more. but most coins you,ll find will be only a couple of inches down, so dont go mad on an expensive detector to start with. what budget do you have?

Could someone please reply to me. I was looking to buy a detector and was wondering if anyone could tell me what was the best model to buy, at a reasonable price? thanks.

dont worry about missing targets if you know your going to go back over the ground cos your going to get better and will pick them up maybe 2nd or 3rd time around. in this vid i,d done this patch about 6 times before but i am still finding stuff, even the pros miss stuff but find them later on.
as for the broken signals i,ll pm you as it will take a bit of time typing.

congrats on your finds thats a big coil does it affect the swing with the extra weight? HH

i also have beed detecting for 1 year and use an xlt. i am still learning how to use it but never sure what program use, i am always worried i will be missing the targets. every now and then i seem to get a lot of broken signals and the detector goes mad for a couple of mins, have you ever come across this? thanks.

yes, i only started detecting this year and found the coin and jewelry mode was picking up too much for me to take in. Coin mode discriminates a little more and i found the learning curve much much easier. i,ll be going into relic mode soon and i,ll see how it goes

do you always use coin mode? good videos mate keep up the good work.
