Great video! Not many people in the uk on you tube. Did you get permission to detect on the land. I’m having problems finding spots to detect in the midlands. Councils are rubbish.

I was out with my detector Tuesday just past for the first time. I found a six pence from 1927, 4 one pennies from 1919, 1916, 1900 and 1860. I also found a ring but not of value. I now can’t wait to get out again!

Nice finds,
Im soon going to start metal detecting hopefully as i love history,
But the thing about living in the devon/exeter area is that the soil is too acidic lol so most the finds are corroded like it being green, but ur finds are green but alot of detail,

i have just taken up detecting and also have a garrett 250 . Do you belong to a club? and what mode do u put ure detector on? ive been going on beaches around torquay and lanes behind, ive only found 1 coin ! and sometimes i get a signal but cant find anything when i dig ???? wud be great if i could go out on a treasure hunt like the ones you post on here!!

Wicked vid dude, I’ve got an Ace250 and a Garrett pinpointer and I detect around Plymouth. Only down the road so anytime you want to go head to head in the oldest find wins game, I’d be right up for it, loser gets the hot chocolates in! Ever used the pinpointer? Mad lil’ gadget, saves me loads of time on the hunt. Best present the missus every got me. All the best mate and let’s have a few more vids.

Some more nice finds well done and that key thing is a very interesting item. Its always nice to find any type of silver coin I was very happy when I found a 1918 silver six pence but I would rather find some silver hammered coins.

Here’s my favorite: I can see the inprint of the coin, but I can’t find the coin! I look everywhere and finally give up and then find the coin stuck to my shoe!
