Arrowheads and Fossils: Very cool!
These items were all acquired legally through a reputable dealer and are from well established reputable private collections. Several people have asked me to share some of the odd things that I collect. As many of you already know, I collect old coins, as well as ancient Roman coins. And I collect all manner of ancient artifacts and strange contemporary items. In this particular vide I will show two of my newer arrowhead collections, but when I say newer collections, I don’t me that they are new arrowheads, I just meant that they are new to me since I only recently acquired them. And I will show some of the fossils I recently acquired. Additionally, I will share a carved out Neolithic stone that was found quite some time ago, in the land of Jericho. So what do you collect? Apache junction used to sell fake arrows. Great video! If you ever bike over to these parts I’ll have to take you to some of my buddies homes and let them show you their collections!! I’d also take you up to Hill City, South Dakota- they have an amazing fossil and dinosaur display at the Black Hills Research Institute- and on the same block they have the Alpine Inn an authentic traditional German food experience!!

Thanks, and I think a lot of people would be surprised at the types of things that are just waiting in the ground waiting to be found. Years ago, I found an old handgun while I was panning for gold. My metal detector went off, and the screen said there’s a coin maybe a foot down. But when I dug it up, it was an old worthless gun from the 1930s. And although the gun was in very good condition, it was not worth anything because even when it was new it was considered unreliable junk.

Thanks, and if I remember correctly, many of these items came from a big collection in London, so it does make sense that it would have items from various parts of the world.

Thanks John, I figured that both you and Biggyd would enjoy seeing these things. And truly of all these things, I think that carved rock from Jericho is most precious from a historical perspective.

That is a good question, and I bet someone will be able to answer that for us. It could just be the difference in the two respective cultures, or because of differences in the locale where these were made. Or it might just be that one set of these could have been made a thousand years earlier than the other.

Nice fossil collection! Your largest fossil there is an ammonite from Agadir, Morocco, it is almost certainly over 300 million years old

I’ve never really known anything about auctions. I watched an episode of auction kings on the history channel the other day, but is it possible to predict what kind of stuff they would auction off there?
