Thanks, Glad you enjoyed it. The most recent batch of videos were filmed with the ACE 250, but most of them are using the ace 150. I am fortunate to live an old area, and so I can go to most Georgian built houses and find coins earlier than expected. HH

Thanks Chris, I am glad you enjoy them so much, and I am glad I make them interesting. I have uploaded an exact link to what you are looking for. I can’t link it to this post, but visit my channel, and the second video down, with the picture of the 1907 Sixpence entitled ‘Coin Preservation: Ultra-Sonic Method’ will reveal my secrets to you. HH

Hi Willo! Glad you liked them, despite them being slow (weighed down literally and physically with lead) I managed to secure some beautiful coins. The Head lamp idea reminds me of the October/November hunts in the field that gave me my first Hammered (James I 6d) and the RBX Error 1763 4d. Just an update on the Christmas video, I hope you don’t mind me using some of your material in it. Happy Christmas to your good self and I wish you a prosperous 2012. HH

Thanks F.K! I know I find fewer coins than most videos show up here, but I pride the fact that the ones I do find are of high quality. I am glad that you appreciate them as well as I do, and I hope I can continue to find beautiful bronzes in these fortuitous Limestone hills. HH

CB another amazing set of hunts must be frustrating those short days just as you get into it. A good head lamp might be a good Christmas present. Well done on all those finds and happy Christmas to you from Australia!

It’s incredible the number of awesome coins you find on your hunts. I know that some are in a condition that leaves a lot to be desired because of contamination, but most are in a cracking condition with the most beautiful patinas. Thanks again for yet another superb series of hunts in which the presentation is faultless. You keep on locating them and we’ll watch and enjoy them. GL & HH

Thanks Ian. Glad you liked it! I adore the Liverpool Half-Penny Token, it is unusual in the sense that the maker impressed his name onto the edge of the coin. Have a great Christmas yourself, and I can only hope that your wish will be my command to find further Roman coinage. HH Buddy

Thanks SJG! It has been a pleasure producing them, safe in the knowledge that kind people such as yourself leave motivational, sometimes inspirational comments on them. Have a Happy Christmas and a Prosperous New Year

Thanks Gem! It was nice to get some beautiful bronzes out of a site infested with lead of all varieties (Approximately 4kg so far). It is also nice that I pulled a Sixpence, that naturally rang up in the lower end, smack bang on the small chunk of Lead chart. Take care of yourself over the dry season and Have a great Christmas on me! Wishing you prosperity in the New Year.

Thanks E.D.2! Well I have always thought that a brief heads up on the goings on around the time this coin was produced is far more engaging than merely saying ‘Here’s a George V Half-Penny, on to the next’. I guess more than anything it is a natural tendency to enforce my own understanding as well. HH

Haha. Thanks dapappacn! My Large silver drought continues, leaving only the fond memories of the Florin-Halfcrown-Shilling-Penny Cache from August. I can only dig what is there, but with any luck, I am sure a good few may pop up in future hunts. Merry Christmas to yourself.

Thanks Hugh, have a great one on me as well. Have you been out with your new machine yet? If so, best of luck on a most Prosperous New Year. HH

Thanks Tony, Admittedly a slight windfall from the previous Roman jubilation, but you can’t complain with Silver and especially the exquisite bronzes. Happy Holidays.
